2023 Election: Nigeria Needs A Total Overhaul, I would Rather Die Fighting For A Cause – Rapper Falz.

Falz has lamented about the worsening economy and hardship experienced by Nigerians. Nigerian rapper, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, said Nigeria needs a general overhaul due to the worsening economy and hardship experienced by citizens of our dear nation..The rapper stated this during an interview with Nigerian OAP, Osi Suave, while addressing the state of the nation ahead of the 2023 general election.

He also stated that he would rather die fighting for a cause than getting knocked down by a biker on a road where there’s no proper traffic control. He said, “We need a very large and general overhaul. A lot of things need to be revamped. Some argue even the constitution needs amendment.”

Speaking on why he he has no fear lambasting the governments, bad governance, and speaking “truth to power”, Falz said that Nigeria is already at rock bottom.

He said “It’s a rough environment we’re living in. But I feel like there’s nothing to be scared of when you’re already at rock bottom. That’s how everyone should be feeling. It can’t get much worse than this.

“Why would I fear for my life when the kind we exist in is not exciting. Basic amenities are unavailing. Every Nigerian is one small sickness away from either going broke or passing away. What kind of life is that?

Falz further lamented that there’s nothing to be happy about or fear for in a life that’s fickle and fragile “What’s there to be happy about or fear for in life so fickle and fragile? I’d rather die fighting for a cause than getting knocked down by a biker because there’s no proper traffic control. It’s as simple as that.”

Immigration Officers Relocated To Another State For Performing Challenge

Five female officers of the Nigeria Immigration Service that participated  in Falz’s “Bop Daddy”  challenge in their uniforms have been punitively redeployed as their punishment.

5 female Nigerian Immigration Officers identified as Priscilla Irabor, Catherine J. Bakura, Blessing Alfred Udida, Binti I. Attabor, and Ockiya Eneni, were issued a query for participating in the Falz “Bop Daddy” challenge in their uniforms, sometime in April. In the query letter, the ladies were accused of flaunting of their bodies and desecration of the NIS uniform in the video. Falz who is a Lawyer himself reacted to the news and offered to do something about the situation but it appears his efforts to save them were in vain.

However, in a new letter addressed to them, the service punished all five women instead of dismissing them by transferring them to different northern states, and expenses for their relocation will be on them and that must be done within seven days.
